ABOUT FAKFIL
The Story Behind the Name
I’m Fakunle Philip Temitayo, better known online as FakFil.
The name FakFil comes from my first and middle names—Fakunle Philip. But over time, I discovered that it could also carry a fun and romantic interpretation:
“Fix a Kiss, Fall in Love.” ❤️
That playful meaning reflects another side of me—the creative, romantic, and expressive person behind the professional and technical side of my life.
I’m a Nigerian from Oyan, raised in the vibrant city of Osogbo, Osun State. My journey has taken me through different places, careers, experiences, and creative pursuits, each contributing to the person I continue to become.
By profession, I work in manufacturing and production. Beyond the factory floor, I’m a songwriter, poet, technology enthusiast, self-taught guitarist, and passionate traveler who is always searching for the next story to tell.
ROOTS & EDUCATION
My journey began in the bustling neighborhoods of Osogbo, where I spent my early years attending Good Tidings Nursery & Primary School and God’s Success International Nursery & Primary School.
I later attended Fakunle Comprehensive High School before completing my secondary education at Ataoja High School of Science, where I earned my WASSCE and NECO certificates.
Driven by a fascination for how things work, I pursued both an Ordinary National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, between 2010 and 2016.
In 2012, I received an MTN Science & Technology Scholarship, which provided an important boost during my educational journey.
I later completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, serving first in Dakingari, Kebbi State, with other experiences taking me through Ogun State.
PROFESSIONAL PATH
My professional journey began with a four-month SIWES placement at the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation.
I later completed a year-long industrial training experience at Procter & Gamble Nigeria Ltd., which was extended by an additional six months.
In 2015, I joined Kimberly-Clark Sub-Sahara West Africa as a Technical Operator, a position I held until 2019.
A brief but rewarding experience at Promasidor Nigeria Ltd., where I worked in the blending section of Onga cubes, eventually led me to Wemy Industries Ltd. in January 2020.
At Wemy Industries, I continued to grow professionally, taking on increasing responsibilities from Production Technician to Team Lead and Production Supervisor.
My approach to leadership is simple:
“Make the job easier for my teammates so that we can all succeed together and achieve our targets.”
I believe that great results are rarely achieved by one person alone. Strong teams, shared knowledge, mutual respect, and continuous improvement are essential ingredients for success.
CREATIVITY, MUSIC & WORDS
Away from the factory floor, creativity has always been an important part of who I am.
Music and words have been constant companions throughout my life. I have written over 50 songs, with “Motor yii gbe,” released in 2016 and produced by Don Tee, remaining one of my personal favorites.
Poetry also comes naturally to me. I enjoy turning emotions, experiences, struggles, observations, and everyday moments into words.
I’m also a self-taught guitarist, and I enjoy transforming ideas and experiences into melodies.
For me, creativity is more than entertainment—it is a way of documenting life.
TRAVEL & EXPLORATION
Travel has played an important role in shaping my perspective.
Exploring new places, meeting different people, and experiencing different cultures continue to fuel my curiosity and creativity.
My journey has taken me across several Nigerian cities and states, including Oyo, Ogun, Rivers, Kebbi, Kwara, Port Harcourt, and beyond.
I have also travelled outside Nigeria.
In 2025, I visited the Republic of Benin, adding another chapter to my journey of exploration.
In 2026, I travelled to Nairobi, Kenya, experiencing another part of Africa and expanding my appreciation for the diversity, beauty, and opportunities across the continent.
My travels have also included Accra, Ghana, another memorable destination that has become part of my growing collection of experiences and stories.
Every new destination teaches me something. Every journey gives me a fresh perspective.
And I still have many more places to explore.
BUILDING JÉKÁSỌ̀RỌ̀ — LET'S TALK & U
On Sunday, 6 September 2026, I reached an exciting new milestone by creating JÉKÁSỌ̀RỌ̀ (Let's Talk), a chatting platform built around a simple but powerful idea:
“Connecting people and encouraging conversations.”
JÉKÁSỌ̀RỌ̀ represents something important to me. It is proof that curiosity can become learning, learning can become experimentation, and experimentation can eventually become something real.
The date of its creation also carries a deeply personal meaning.
I created JÉKÁSỌ̀RỌ̀ on Sunday, 6 September 2026—the same day my late father would have celebrated his 68th birthday.
That connection makes the milestone even more meaningful to me.
What started as an idea and a willingness to learn became a real project—another reminder that it is never too late to explore technolgogy, build something new, and bring an idea to life.
JÉKÁSỌ̀RỌ̀ means “Let's Talk,” and I hope it continues to represent connection, conversation, friendship, and the power of people coming together.

BUILDING U - ...about you
On Friday, 18 September 2026, another idea sprung up about the possibility of creating a living biography, where people can talk about you while you're still alive. And boom, U was born.
Via u-first.netlify.app, the first version features a friendly user interface, where each user signs up to create a profile, uploads their avatar and edit their bio. The can search for other users on the platform and write on their profile. So basically when anybody searches for U, what returns is all the reviews that have been written about U. Beautiful!
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
My life is guided by values that I continue to work hard to uphold:
Honesty. Transparency. Excellence. Integrity. Flexibility.
I believe success should never come at the expense of character.
Whether in my career, relationships, creative work, personal projects, or everyday decisions, I continue to pursue excellence while holding firmly to integrity.
I believe in learning continuously, admitting mistakes, improving processes, and becoming better with time.
I also believe that life is not defined only by our failures or mistakes, but by our willingness to learn, change, and keep moving forward.
Like many people, I have faced personal challenges and difficult habits. Gambling has been one of my greatest struggles and has cost me significantly since 2015.
However, I remain committed to overcoming it, learning from my experiences, and becoming a stronger and better version of myself.
FAITH & PERSONAL LIFE
I am a proud Christian, and Deeper Life Bible Church is my spiritual home.
Faith continues to play an important role in how I view life, relationships, challenges, and the future.
I am currently single and still searching, hopeful about finding a kind-hearted, hardworking woman who shares my faith, values, and vision for life.
Until then, I continue to focus on growth, purpose, becoming a better man, and building a meaningful life.
LOOKING FORWARD
Life is a combination of challenges, lessons, opportunities, failures, victories, and unexpected journeys.
Through everything, I remain committed to learning and growing.
Whether it is improving a production process, writing another song, travelling to a new country, learning a new technology, building a new project, or exploring an unfamiliar road, I believe every experience has something to teach.
My journey is still being written.
There are still songs to write.
Still places to visit.
Still ideas to build.
Still lessons to learn.
Still goals to achieve.
And hopefully, still love to find. ❤️
As I continue forward, one thing remains constant:
I will continue to pursue excellence and integrity—in life, in my career, and in everything I create.
If you would like to connect, talk about music, technology, manufacturing, travel, creativity, or simply share a laugh, feel free to reach out.
Let’s talk. Let’s learn. Let’s create.
